Life at Shelter

Shelter is a 120sqm, 3 bedroom split-level updated 70’s beach shack. With an open kitchen, living and dining area facing out onto an enormous 50sqm oceanfront entertaining deck.

There’s generous sized front and back yards surrounded by landscaped native gardens. The back yard has a fire pit and steps down to the peaceful cove of Garden Bay.

The house sleeps 6 people across 2 queen beds and 1 double.

Shack Life

Simple and sitting sympathetically within the native environment, our beach shack reflects our commitment to restore rather than demolish. We bought a perfectly lovely home built in 1971 that needed a bit of love, while retaining the existing structure. Tucked into the trees and completely private, our shack offers the perfect antidote to busy city lives where families and couples can rest, connect, and share the kind of beachside laughter that becomes a summer memory.

Inside the shack:

●︎ 2 queen beds & 1 double bed
● Fully equipped kitchen with custom cabinetry
● Bespoke bathroom with Japanese tiles.
● Modern built-in appliances.
● Record player with extensive vinyl collection
